Our head trainer, Kevin, brings years of hands-on experience and deep expertise in canine behavior, learning theory, and real-world training methods. His calm, structured approach ensures that both dogs and owners feel supported throughout the process, with clear guidance designed for long-term success.

 

Kevin’s journey began while serving on the contraband and riot team at Lieber Correctional Institution, where he worked alongside K9 units and developed a deep respect for the discipline and intelligence of working dogs. After five years of service, Kevin transitioned into professional dog training, completing a rigorous, year-long certification and spending more than six years honing his skills within a leading training company. Over the course of his career, Kevin has successfully completed more than 500 training programs, ranging from foundational obedience to advanced behavioral rehabilitation and high-risk case management.

 

His experience spans all breeds, temperaments, and behavioral challenges — giving him a well-rounded understanding of what makes each dog unique. At Red Dog, Kevin’s goal is more than training dogs — it’s empowering owners. Every session focuses on building communication, consistency, and confidence so that life with your companion becomes smoother, more enjoyable, and deeply fulfilling.
